Queen will stream tonight 1992 Freddie Mercury tribute concert

Queen are streaming tonight on their YouTube channel the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert for AIDS Awareness.

The gig, which took place to 72,000 people at Wembley Stadium on April 20, 1992, was in tribute to the band’s late frontman, who had died from AIDS the previous November.

Tonight’s stream will start at 7pm BST.

The concert saw the surviving members of Queen performing their hits with a procession of stand-in vocalists, including David Bowie, Roger Daltrey, George Michael, Elton John and Axl Rose among others.
