UK rapper Black The Ripper has died at the age of 32.
The rapper was a pivotal figure on the UK rap scene, shooting to fame with mixtapes such as ‘Afro Samurai’ and ‘Holla Black’.
The rapper came from North London, and his real name was Dean West. His friend, rapper Chip, confirmed the death sharing a picture of two of them, writing:
“Real tears. I never cry. Rest in peace my bro. Forever here for your son.”
Black The Ripper was also known for his campaigning for the legalization of cannabis in the UK. His cause of death is not yet known.
